At the campsite
The campsite is usually open from May to September. All services and facilities (swimming pools, restaurant, bar, fitness room, library) are open throughout the entire opening period.
The Kids’ Club is free of charge and welcomes children from the age of 5. Activities for children and teenagers are offered in July and August only.
Only gas or electric barbecues (if the power is below 1800 watts) are permitted. Charcoal barbecues are prohibited by prefectural decree. Collective barbecues are available for guests.
Yes.
The grounds of Camping Ma Prairie are almost entirely flat, making it easy to get around. All buildings are accessible to wheelchair users (reception, bar, restaurant, swimming pools, etc.).
Yes.
Visitors must inform reception of their presence. They are allowed under the responsibility of their hosts. Visitors do not have access to the swimming pool. They must park their vehicles outside the campsite.
You can view the campsite rules and regulations below. They are sent to you with your booking confirmation and are also displayed at the entrance of the campsite.
Yes.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite, free of charge for 30 minutes per day. For longer access, tickets can be purchased at reception.
Reception is open every day during the season. You must inform reception before 6:00 pm, either by email at contact@maprairie.com or by phone at +33 4 68 73 26 17, so that we can provide you with the procedure to follow.
Set-up is allowed until 10:30 pm for pitches and until 10:50 pm for rental accommodations. Traffic within the campsite is prohibited from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.
Accommodation
Tableware, duvets, blankets and pillows are provided in all our rental accommodations. You can consult the full list of equipment on the page corresponding to your accommodation.
You may arrive at any time during the day. While waiting for your accommodation to be ready, you can already enjoy the facilities from the moment you arrive (swimming pools, restaurant, bar, leisure areas). Mobile homes are available from 5:00 pm.
In case of late arrival, outside reception opening hours, please inform us by phone at +33 4 68 73 26 17 before 6:00 pm. We will then explain the late check-in procedure.
Arrivals are not possible after 10:50 pm in order not to disturb other guests.
The mobile home must be vacated before 10:00 am, with end-of-stay cleaning carried out by you. We kindly ask you to make an appointment at reception for the check-out inspection as early as possible if you wish to choose your departure time.
For each rental, a security deposit of €250 is required. It will be returned at the time of your departure after the mobile home has been checked by a member of our team.
No. Cleaning is not included in the rental price. We offer an end-of-stay cleaning package for €95, which does not exempt guests from returning the mobile home in a proper condition: dishes clean and put away, kitchen area clean, bins emptied into the containers, plancha cleaned, etc.
Yes. All our mobile homes are equipped with a television and air conditioning, except for our unusual accommodations.
Yes. All our rental accommodations are non-smoking.
Yes. Pets are allowed in most of our mobile homes, except in the Grand Prestige and Luxe ranges, where they are not permitted.
Miscellaneous
The campsite is located in the village of Canet-en-Roussillon.
A cycle path starts directly from the campsite and offers several routes between Perpignan and the coast. If you do not have a car, the campsite also offers bicycle rentals on site.
Public transport options:

The free shuttle to the beach “Le Canet’on”, with a stop located 50 metres from the campsite.

The bus (line 3 of the SANKEO network), with the Figarasse stop 350 metres from the campsite. This line serves both the beach and Perpignan.

The Trainbus runs between Canet Village and Canet Beach throughout the season (departure point 800 metres from the campsite).

Taxis.
Perpignan SNCF train station, located 12 km away, with the possibility of taking bus line no. 3 towards Canet Plage (Figarasse stop, 350 metres from the campsite).
Perpignan–Rivesaltes Airport, located 16 km away.
The campsite is equipped with an electric vehicle charging station. It is strictly forbidden to connect vehicles to the pitch power outlets, as they are not suitable for this purpose.
Pitches
Yes. All pitches are equipped with electric hook-ups.
Power supply: 10A – European socket requiring an adaptor.
Yes, on Comfort, Premium Comfort and Privilege pitches only.
Standard pitches do not have a water connection.
Yes. Water and electricity are included in the pitch price for Comfort, Premium Comfort and Privilege pitches only.
Most of our pitches are suitable for motorhomes. As the campsite is located in a park, it is essential to know the dimensions of your vehicle and installation so that we can allocate the most suitable pitch.
No. Chemical toilets cannot be emptied directly on the pitch or in the water fountains (water points located along the campsite paths). Facilities designed for this purpose are available in each sanitary block and at the motorhome service area.
Pitches are available from 2:00 pm.
The pitch must be vacated before 11:00 am.
Holders of ADAC, ACSI, Camping Key Card and ANWB cards benefit from a preferential rate during the low season.
The aquatic area
The swimming pools are accessible from the opening of the campsite until its closing, like all services. Access is free and reserved exclusively for our guests. Swimming is not supervised.
Yes, the swimming pools are heated to 26°C.
No, swim shorts are not allowed. Only swimwear is permitted. Babies must wear a special swimming diaper.
The swimming pools are open every day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The water slides are open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, on request during the low season.
Reservation / Payment / Cancellation
We accept payments in cash, by credit card, holiday vouchers (Chèques Vacances) and bank transfer.
We do not accept CAF vouchers or restaurant vouchers.
The terms and conditions of the cancellation guarantee are available on our website under the “Practical information” section.
For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of people allowed in mobile homes or on pitches must not exceed the capacity or the adult/child distribution indicated.
Yes, a baby is considered as a full person.
Only one vehicle is allowed inside the campsite, on or near the pitch. A second vehicle can be parked in the car parks at the entrance of the campsite, subject to an additional charge.

The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the local authorities. The amount, the people concerned (adults) and the collection periods vary depending on the municipality.
Whether or not you have taken out cancellation insurance, you must inform the campsite of your cancellation by email at contact@maprairie.com .
